Missing the Crisis

FEB 18, 2011

For the Friday before Reading Week, we feature a return to the Question That Will Not Die: Why did academic (or other) economists not foresee the financial crisis? The blog post by Raghu Razan of Chicago Booth School of Business discusses a number of possible answers, and then settles on one. Before you read it, you can provide your own answer in this multiple choice format:
a) ideology
b) we did
c) what crisis?
d) we weren't told it would be on the test
e) none of the above
